Our 2-5 August 2020 Gathering in DC

As has been our custom, we normally have an Endorser’s Dinner and Networking time in conjunction with the Military Chaplains Association’s (MCA) annual “National Institute” event of continuing education. This year, it was to be held in DC. This year was to be special, the 75th Anniversary of the formal organizing of the VA Chaplaincy. Sadly, the VA has reported that due to the Pandemic and the various restraints on travel and funding, very few of the VA chaplaincy’s department chiefs would be able to attend. That said, the MCA Board has decided to cancel the event scheduled for August, and to resume the annual meeting and celebrations next year. Since our annual endorsing body’s federal chaplains meeting is in conjunction with the MCA meeting, we too are canceling our annual conference gathering in 2020.

We look forward to a great assembly next year for fellowship — and the telling of our stories together.
